Happy Chihuahua Acres (HCA), is a Certified Veganic mini-farm and private animal sanctuary located in Northern California. Approximately 1.3 acres are used for the residence, garden, and animal sanctuary, with the remaining 40 acres are left wild. The farm is off-grid and is solar powered and hydro-electric powered.

A variety of food crops are grown in our Certified Veganic garden, including garlic, potatoes, corn, grains, brassicas (kale, mustard, broccoli, etc.), lettuce, beans, and others, without the use of any animal products. We also have fruit trees within some of the sanctuary’s animal pastures which are not Certified Veganic due to the presence of animal manure from the rescued animals in the pasture.

An animal sanctuary is located on the property. There are approximately 30 rescued animals residing at HCA, including dogs, cats, goats, sheep, miniature horses, and ponies. The sanctuary is private and self-funded. All animal residents are fed a vegan diet.
